Özel announces the date Erdoğan will visit the CHP! What did he say about the early election message?

Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Özgür Özel answered questions from journalists.

Speaking about AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's return visit to the CHP, Özel announced that the meeting will take place on June 11 at 16:00 at the CHP Headquarters.

When asked about the early election message he gave at his party's group meeting, Özel stated, "We do not think that talking about early elections in politics is like stepping on a landmine. The CHP is in a position to be the leading party if an election were held tomorrow."

"WE WILL HOST THEM WITH THE SAME DELEGATIONS"

Highlights from Özel's statements are as follows:

"We will meet with the President on June 11 at 16:00. We will host them at the CHP Headquarters with the same delegations. The seating arrangement will be in the format of political party chairmen.

(Early election message) We do not think that talking about early elections in politics is like stepping on a landmine. If your vote share keeps you away from an election, you see the election as a minefield. The CHP is in a position to be the leading party if an election were held tomorrow. We do not have the majority in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) to make an early election decision. If we did, we would take it."
