The CHP has taken action to determine its presidential candidate in the event of a possible early election. The party has decided to determine its candidate through a primary election to be held with the participation of members. This process is planned to be completed by March at the latest.

According to a report by BirGün, the CHP Headquarters has sent a circular to provincial and district organizations to accelerate membership registration processes. Membership registration procedures are being carried out uninterruptedly, including on weekends, with duty officers.

INCREASED 15-FOLD

CHP officials stated that there has been a significant increase in online membership applications. While approximately 2,500 applications are made daily, it was reported that applications have increased 15-fold in some provinces and districts.
