Özgür Özel: 'Turkey needs democrats and a new approach to governance'

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel stated, "Turkey needs its democrats, Turkey needs a new approach to governance. Tomorrow is ours."

Özel spoke at the opening ceremony of the IMM Kuştepe Sports Facility and Underground Parking Lot. Making assessments regarding the economy, Özgür Özel remarked, "Inflation is no longer falling, nor is its pace slowing down."

Pointing to the unlawful actions directed at his party, Özel noted that the government wants to stop the CHP's march to power, but that they will not allow this to happen.

Reminding that elected politicians have been imprisoned, Özel stated that despite this, municipal services continue to operate without interruption.

Drawing attention to the problems faced by Roma citizens, Özel used the words, "Turkey needs an alliance of democrats, Turkey needs a new approach to governance. Tomorrow is ours."
