Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Özgür Özel had undergone consecutive operations following the March 31 Local Elections.
Özel, who had vocal cord surgery on April 5, underwent lens replacement surgery on his eyes on April 7 and 8.

Having removed the glasses he had worn for years, Özel drew attention this time by dyeing his hair.
