Özgür Özel's YSK call for Hatay

Following the issuance of the certificate of election to the AKP candidate before the CHP's objection to the election results in Hatay was concluded, CHP Chairman Özgür Özel issued a call on his social media account.

Although the local elections have ended, the results for many provinces and districts have not yet been clarified due to the objections filed.

In particular, after the YSK rejected many election result objections from the CHP and did not make any statement regarding the issuance of the certificate of election to the AKP candidate in Hatay, a striking call came from Özgür Özel.

Stating that the will of the citizens is being interfered with by desk-bound games, CHP Chairman Özgür Özel wrote the following:

"The will of Hatay at the ballot box has been interfered with for days by desk-bound games.

The certificate of election has been issued unfairly and unlawfully due to political pressure before our applications were concluded and the YSK announced its decision.

We will be in front of the YSK tomorrow at 15:00.

I call on everyone who wants to protect the will of Hatay to come in front of the YSK for a peaceful and constitutional search for rights."
