Deliberations have begun on the Draft Law on Amendments to the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) Personnel Law and Certain Other Laws.

The provision in the second article of the draft, which stipulated that "former Ministry personnel who make statements, issue explanations, or write articles using their titles related to the positions and duties they held while in office, regarding matters concerning the Ministry's duties and responsibilities, shall be sentenced to imprisonment from six months to three years," was removed from the text by unanimous vote.
