Phone call from Özgür Özel to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel spoke by phone with former chairmen Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, Hikmet Çetin, and Murat Karayalçın ahead of his party's 22nd Extraordinary Congress, which will be held tomorrow at the Nazım Hikmet Culture Center, and invited them to the congress. According to information received from the CHP Headquarters, Özel specifically invited the former leaders to attend the congress during these calls.

IMPORTANT ELECTIONS TO BE HELD AT THE CONGRESS

The Extraordinary Congress will take place on September 28, 2025, at the Nazım Hikmet Culture Center. The congress, where 1,127 registered delegates will be eligible to vote, will begin with a moment of silence and the National Anthem.

At the congress, the election of the presidential council will be held first, followed by the opening speech of CHP Chairman Özgür Özel.

Following Özel's opening speech, a vote of confidence will be held at the congress regarding the Chairman, members of the Party Assembly (PM), and members of the High Disciplinary Board (YDK).
