Preparations completed ahead of CHP's Uşak rally

Uşak is preparing to host the “Defending the National Will” rally organized by the Republican People's Party tomorrow. The rally will be held at 14:00 at the 15 July Martyrs Square in the central district.

EXPECTATION OF HISTORIC TURNOUT AT THE RALLY

Stating that preparations have concluded, CHP Uşak Provincial Chair Celalettin Çoban expressed that the rally would be one of the largest events in Uşak's history. Çoban said that he and his teams have been working at an intense pace for two weeks. High interest from the city's residents is expected following the call made under the title, “The Great Uşak Rally defends the national will.”

CHP's Çoban remarked, “It will be a historic rally. It will be very crowded. It will take place with the great participation of our fellow citizens from Uşak.”

ECONOMIC HARDSHIPS ON THE RALLY'S AGENDA

Explaining that economic difficulties and citizens' demands will be brought to the agenda at the rally, Çoban summarized the current situation with these words: “We have so many troubles... Our villagers, retirees, students, women, tradespeople, farmers—everyone has a problem. The number of people smiling in society has decreased. People want to be happy. But they are currently in an economic bottleneck...”

Drawing attention specifically to the lack of an increase in holiday bonuses for retirees, Çoban stated that this disappointed retirees before the holiday. Furthermore, expressing that employers in the textile industry are in a difficult situation, that the number of shifts in factories has decreased, and that concerns over layoffs are rising, Çoban stated that this voice would be heard strongly at the rally.

Çoban is of the opinion that there are economic obstacles to peace and happiness in Uşak. Inviting all city residents to the rally, he issued the call: “We want our people in Uşak to smile. We are waiting for all our fellow citizens from Uşak at our rally. All our people are invited to the Great Uşak Rally.”
