President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is attending the AKP Candidate Introduction Meeting held at the Ankara Chamber of Commerce (ATO) Congresium. The AKP has announced its candidates in many provinces, primarily Ankara.

Highlights from Erdoğan's statements are as follows:

ELECTION MANIFESTO AND DISTRICT CANDIDATES

"Starting from next Saturday, we will also introduce our district candidates, beginning in Istanbul. We will complete the introduction of our district candidates in a short time.

Our goal is to introduce our cities that are held by the AKP and the People's Alliance to real municipalism. Hopefully, we will present our election manifesto to our nation on January 30. The candidate lists must be submitted to the election boards by February 20 at the latest.

We will support the MHP's candidate in 7 provinces.

We want to take the 'Century of Turkey,' which we started in Istanbul exactly 30 years ago, to its peak in 2024."

"THEY TRIED TO MAKE OUR COUNTRY PAY A PRICE"

If there is anyone who has their eyes on the ballot box without feeling the pain of their cities, the AKP is by no means the right venue for them. On one hand, they have been continuing uninterruptedly for over 10 years by creating chaos, inciting terrorism, and setting economic traps. They wanted to topple our country with the Gezi events. When they failed, they started trying to make us pay a price. They wanted to take over the country with the FETÖ coup attempt. When they met with frustration, they tried to make our country pay a price. They wanted to violate neighborhoods with trenches. When our security forces buried them in those pits, they tried to make us pay a price. They attempted to harass our borders."

On March 31, we will not only bring our cities together with real municipalism, but we will also save Özgür Efendi from tutelage and liberate him."

"ELECTIONS ARE WON IN THE FIELD"

Elections are won in the field before the ballot box. The way to win in the field is to first win the hearts of the people. Arrogance does not suit us."

You will not take the citizen's vote for granted. No one, including myself, is forced to vote for anyone 'willy-nilly.'

"THERE WILL NEVER BE DISCRIMINATION IN THE PEOPLE'S ALLIANCE"

We will work with the same determination and sincerity in the provinces of Manisa, Mersin, Bartın, Erzincan, Kars, Kırklareli, and Osmaniye, where we will support our People's Alliance partner, the MHP. There will never be discrimination in the People's Alliance."
