Presidential candidacy office closed

Active days are being experienced at the Republican People's Party (CHP) following court rulings. In line with the decisions taken, the operations of the election office used for Ekrem İmamoğlu's presidential candidacy have been terminated, and the relevant pages have been removed from the CHP's official internet platform. At the same time, control of the party's website has passed into the hands of the new management.

Following the change in management, a total of 24 personnel working in various departments, such as the party's technical units and member reception centers, were laid off. It was announced that details regarding severance pay and entitlements would be communicated to those dismissed in the future. According to information obtained from party circles, it is rumored that this number may increase further after the upcoming holiday.

Making a statement via social media, Çimen Çetin announced her dismissal with the words, "Yes, I am one of those names. My position in the Presidential Candidacy Office Media and Communication unit was terminated with a single phone call following the instructions of the new management... Have a happy holiday, 'new management'."

Furthermore, according to party sources, due to Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu assuming control of party accounts following the absolute nullity ruling, there have been delays in the salaries of personnel working at the headquarters. It was reported that holiday bonuses were also not paid. However, the CHP management announced that both salary and bonus payments would be made in a short time.

It was stated that initiatives have also been launched regarding the transfer of the party's social media accounts. It is noteworthy that Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu is still listed as Chairman on the Court of Cassation's website.
