It is alleged that a verbal altercation broke out between an advisor to Müslim Sarı, a spokesperson for the party's current administration, and the journalists covering the event following Sarı's remarks.

According to the claims, the dispute was ignited by questions posed by journalist Yıldız Yazıcıoğlu regarding the party convention process and the precautionary measures taken.

It was reported that after the press conference concluded, the advisor encountered journalists in the hallway and reacted to Yazıcıoğlu's questions.

The advisor allegedly told the journalists, "Of course she takes a yellow envelope, that's why she asks such questions."

It was reported that the journalists covering the meeting reacted to the advisor following these remarks.

Following the development, the journalists present in the room reacted to the accusation.

It was stated that the journalists responded to the advisor by saying, "If you have such an allegation, go to the judiciary; why are you putting journalists under suspicion? We don't understand if this is the CHP or somewhere else."

It was noted that after the argument, the advisor entered an elevator and left the area.

Following the incident, CHP's Burhanettin Bulut also made a statement regarding the matter.

Sharing on his social media account, Bulut reacted to the events with the following words:

"Immoral, impudent, slanderer!

He accuses journalists of taking 'yellow envelopes' in private, yet he cannot even look at the cameras. Journalists who work long hours at the Headquarters and perform their duties to inform the public correctly are only doing what their profession requires.

Drown in your slanders!"
