Following the court's appointment decision, the team of Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who began his duties at the CHP Headquarters, intervened in the matter by characterizing the rally organization in Ankara by elected Chairman Özgür Özel and his colleagues as illegal according to the current bylaws.

The Kılıçdaroğlu administration officially applied to the Ankara Governor's Office for the rally announced to be held under the leadership of Özgür Özel on Saturday. In the application made by the CHP Headquarters, it was claimed that the rally in question was "pirated," organized without the permission of the party administration, and that such a rally could not be permitted. It was learned that the situation was also conveyed to the Ankara Police Department as part of the application.

According to information received from within the party, the Kılıçdaroğlu administration argued that "Özgür Özel and his team do not have the authority to organize a rally on behalf of the CHP." In this context, they stated, "The Republican People's Party administration does not accept Özgür Özel and his team holding a pirated rally. And they are reporting that the announcement made and the organization being held are pirated. Because the headquarters has no permission for such a rally. For this reason, the Republican People's Party Headquarters administration applied to the Ankara Governor's Office. The matter was also conveyed to the Ankara Police Department. Stating that it is not right for Özgür Özel and his friends to hold an alternative rally and that this would be a pirated rally, they requested that this rally not be permitted.

They say we do not permit this on the grounds that Özgür Özel and his friends cannot organize a rally on behalf of the CHP. They say we do not allow such a thing to be done, and the headquarters has made an official application. The only address for the rally to be held on Saturday is the headquarters.
