Reaction from Gökhan Günaydın to the İmamoğlu case: 'We know what you are doing, we are watching'

Information has been provided regarding the current status of the case filed against Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu on the allegation that he "called YSK members 'fools'," despite three expert reports stating the contrary.
His lawyer, Kemal Polat, appealed the prison sentence handed down to Ekrem İmamoğlu by the court of first instance. Sözcü columnist Saygı Öztürk, stating that the current status of the İmamoğlu case is being wondered about in these days when "early elections" and "presidential candidacy" are being discussed, reported that the Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Special Investigation Bureau sent a letter to the 24th Criminal Chamber of the Istanbul Regional Court of Justice (Appeals) on July 1, 2024, and received the following response signed by the Court President:
"A request has been made for information regarding the status of our case file registered under 2023/503 at our Chamber, and the case file 2023/503 of our Chamber is still awaiting assignment for review, and no decision has been made yet."
