DETAINEE RELATIVES AND CHP MEMBERS ORGANIZE ENTHUSIASTIC WELCOME

Welcomings continue at the Silivri Solidarity Center. The released detainees are being greeted there with enthusiasm by CHP members and the relatives of the detainees. The latest developments at the Silivri Solidarity Center were recorded by T24 cameras.

In his statement after being released from prison, Sırrı Küçük said, “Not a step forward, not a step backward… We explained the process from the moment the police knocked on our door at 06:00 in the morning until we arrived here. I have two tears in my two eyes; if my right eye is crying with happiness, my left eye is crying with sadness because half of our heart is still there. However, I see this as the beginning of our struggle. I hope that justice will be served for them as soon as possible.”

In his statement upon leaving the prison as the first person to be released, Sırrı Küçük said, "I hope our other friends are welcomed in the same way. We will find justice."
