Sharing a photograph of İYİ Party Chair Meral Akşener on his social media account with the hashtag "Leader Meral Akşener," Kavuncu wrote, "Let it be known that our Chair's word is our organization's word. Every direction she shows us is our organization's compass... Any insolent words read outside of this have no validity for us!"

RESIGNATION NEWS COMES ONE AFTER ANOTHER IN THE PARTY

Following the local election decision, Eskişehir deputy İdris Nebi Hatipoğlu resigned in recent weeks and joined the ranks of the AKP. Hatipoğlu had announced that he advocated for an alliance with the AKP.

Former İYİ Party Ankara Deputy Durmuş Yılmaz announced in a statement on his social media account the other day that he had terminated his party membership. On the same day, former İYİ Party Deputy Chair Bahadır Erdem also announced that he had resigned from his party.

Today (November 16, 2023), Adnan Beker, whose name was mentioned among the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) mayoral candidates and who was an İYİ Party 28th Term Ankara Deputy, and Aylin Anıl Arslan, a Hatay deputy candidate nominee and İYİ Party Deputy Chair of Health Policies, announced that they had resigned.
