Remarks about Kılıçdaroğlu stir controversy! Lawyer moves to file criminal complaint

While debates over "absolute nullity" continue within the CHP, statements made by former CHP Tunceli MP Hüseyin Aygün about Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu have ignited a new controversy. Following Aygün's claims regarding a phone conversation he alleged took place in the past, a harsh response came from the Kılıçdaroğlu camp.

AYGÜN'S STRIKING KILIÇDAROĞLU CLAIM

In his statement, Hüseyin Aygün recounted a phone conversation he claimed to have had with former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu years ago.

Aygün alleged that Kılıçdaroğlu called him on the day the funeral of Ali İsmail Korkmaz, who lost his life during the Gezi Resistance, was held.

In his statement, Aygün claimed that Kılıçdaroğlu asked him not to continue his criticisms of the community (cemaat) and made various assessments.

MIT CLAIMS ALSO BROUGHT TO THE AGENDA

Aygün did not limit his remarks to the claims regarding the phone conversation.

The former MP also reiterated his claims that there was a connection between Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and the National Intelligence Organization (MİT).

These statements quickly became one of the most discussed topics on the political agenda.

RESPONSE FROM THE KILIÇDAROĞLU CAMP

Following Aygün's statements, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's lawyer, Celal Çelik, made a statement regarding the matter.

Sharing on his social media account, Çelik announced that they would take legal action against Hüseyin Aygün.

"WE WILL IMMEDIATELY RESORT TO LEGAL CHANNELS"

In his post, Celal Çelik used the following expressions:

"The individual named Hüseyin Aygün, who undertook the defense (greedily for a few pennies) of dozens of hardcore FETÖ members arrested after July 15, can shamelessly and brazenly slander our Chairman. Even though we know he suffers from spinal issues, we cannot overlook him. We will immediately resort to legal channels due to the lies and slanders he has directed."
