This time, the news of resignation came from İzmir. Kemal Sevinç, the İYİ Party Group Deputy Chair of the İzmir Metropolitan Municipal Council and a Bornova Municipal Council member, has resigned from his party.
Sevinç's resignation was presented during the 3rd session of the İzmir Metropolitan Municipal Council's December Ordinary Assembly Meeting.
Journalist İsmail Saymaz shared the following regarding Sevinç's resignation:
"Kemal Sevinç, the İYİ Party Group Deputy Chair of the İzmir Metropolitan Municipal Council, has resigned from his party on the grounds that it has 'moved away from the center-party axis and does not inspire confidence in society.'"
