Response from Ömer Çelik to Özgür Özel: 'Prepare for your own internal handover'

AKP Spokesperson Ömer Çelik delivered a message of unity and brotherhood at the youth branch congress he attended in Adana.

AKP Spokesperson Ömer Çelik attended his party's youth branch congress in Adana. In his speech at the congress, responding to criticisms from CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, Çelik said, "We will continue to walk our path in unity and brotherhood." 

"THERE WILL BE A HANDOVER IN THE CHP CHAIRMANSHIP"

Stating that the chairmanship seat in the Republican People's Party (CHP) will change, AKP Spokesperson Ömer Çelik spoke as follows:

Özgür Özel comes out and says: 'Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was wrong about Syria.' Whether he was wrong or not about Syria, go ask our brothers in Damascus, Hama, and Homs. He comes out and says: 'I am showing a red card to Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the AK Party.' In football, assistant referees do not have the right to show a red card. You are not the head referee; you cannot show a red card. The head referee is not in Ankara, but elsewhere. Özgür Özel, you have kicked the ball out of bounds once again. While your previous chairman's name was 'Mr. Kemal,' by dealing with our President, he became 'Bye-bye Kemal.' Özel says: 'We are preparing to take over the government soon.' There will be a handover, but it is not a government handover. In all likelihood, there will be a handover in the CHP Chairmanship. Therefore, prepare for the handover among yourselves. We will continue to walk our path in unity and brotherhood.
