Response from Özgür Çelik to Bahçeli, who threatened Özel: 'Everyone should know their place!'

"Özgür Özel has gone off the rails. The 'DEM-brewed' CHP has turned into a source of shame. The CHP is as much a national security problem as DEM," said Bahçeli, threatening Özel with the words, "If Özgür Özel does not come to his senses, he will not even be able to walk on the street."

REACTION FROM ÖZGÜR ÇELİK TO BAHÇELİ'S WORDS

Following Bahçeli's statements targeting Özgür Özel, CHP Istanbul Provincial Chair Özgür Çelik supported Özel in a post on his X account.

Çelik lashed out at Bahçeli, saying, "We have no need for advice from those who practiced nationalism until they became the spare tire of the government. Everyone should know their place!"

Çelik's post is as follows;

“We are always on the streets with our people for a democratic Turkey. We are the children of those poor homes where the crescent-and-star flag is hung in the window. Our party, which founded the Republic and the state, will continue to tell the truth to our people door to door, street by street.
