Results of the latest Istanbul poll released! What is İmamoğlu's vote share?
ORC Research has shared the results of its election poll conducted in Istanbul between December 25, 2023, and January 3, 2024. According to the poll results, incumbent Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu is leading the race by a small margin. Meanwhile, the percentage of undecided voters has drawn attention.
Turkey has entered the local election atmosphere. Political parties have accelerated their local election campaigns.
The CHP has nominated incumbent Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu as its candidate for Istanbul in the local elections on March 31, 2024. It is being awaited with curiosity which name the AKP will nominate against İmamoğlu.
While AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan pointed to January 7 for his party's IBB candidate, ORC Research shared the results of the latest election poll it conducted for Istanbul.
In the poll, which was conducted face-to-face with 5 thousand 100 people between December 25, 2023, and January 3, 2024, voters' preferences for the IBB Mayoralty were examined.
The preferences of the voters who participated in the poll were as follows;
Ekrem İmamoğlu: 40.8 percent
AKP (People's Alliance) candidate: 40.2 percent
Undecided/depends on the candidate: 19 percent
