Şamil Tayyar, crossed off the MKYK list, deletes AKP from his profile

AKP former Gaziantep deputy Şamil Tayyar, who could not retain his seat on the MKYK and was crossed off the list at the party's extraordinary congress, has removed AKP from his profile.

In his post regarding the matter, Tayyar also sent the message: "A team is paving the road to hell with good intentions."

"THIS FACTION IS ROTTING THE AK PARTY FROM WITHIN"

Tayyar made the following post on his social media account:

“Let this stand on the sidelines as a small observation and warning following the congress. The demand for change regarding new policies, vision, and cadres is shaped by social needs and political dynamics. Arbitrariness based on internal power calculations, detached from this reality, and changes limited to a few names with no influence on the decision-making process are merely worthless statistical data, not change.

However, those who mistake our President's greatness for their own shadow are presenting their post-Erdoğan calculations wrapped in the packaging of 'change.' This faction, which triggers corruption, is rotting the AK Party from within. If this corrupt mindset, which produces the political/social reasons for the vote share dropping from 50 percent to 35 percent, is also influential in determining mayoral candidates, political damage that is difficult to compensate for may occur. I am sad; a team is paving the road to hell with good intentions.”
