Şamil Tayyar reacts sharply to DEM Party: 'They are spoiled and arrogant, they haven't learned their lesson'

AKP Central Decision and Executive Board (MKYK) member Şamil Tayyar has launched a harsh attack on statements coming from the DEM Party following the PKK's decision to dissolve. Tayyar stated that they are displaying a "spoiled and arrogant" attitude, similar to the one seen during the previous resolution process.

Şamil Tayyar reacts sharply to DEM Party: 'They are spoiled and arrogant, they haven't learned their lesson'

Following the move made by MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli on October 22, the PKK, which came to the agenda with the call for disarmament by terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan, recently announced that it had ended its so-called "armed struggle period." While the decision, which the terrorist organization announced as a "dissolution," caused a wide stir in public opinion, evaluations regarding the process came from the DEM Party front following this statement.

TAYYAR REACTS TO DEM PARTY MEMBERS BY NAME

AKP MKYK member Şamil Tayyar attacked some DEM Party deputies by name, who spoke after the terrorist organization's statement. Tayyar targeted the statements of DEM Party Co-Chair Tuncer Bakırhan, Party Spokesperson Ayşegül Doğan, Group Deputy Chair Gülistan Kılıç Koçyiğit, and deputy Cengiz Çandar.

"PROVOCATIVE SPEECHES CONTINUE"

In his statements on social media, Tayyar recalled the expressions that the PKK's so-called dissolution decision did not cover the YPG, stating, "Mazlum Abdi says, 'We hope that the relevant parties will take the necessary steps and all friends will provide support.' Cengiz Çandar also clearly states that Öcalan's call does not cover the YPG."

Arguing that DEM Party spokespersons continue their provocative statements, Tayyar said, "Tuncer Bakırhan suggests taking weapons away from village guards, giving them sticks, and having them tend to animals. Ayşegül Doğan lashes out at the Minister of Justice, who stated that the right to hope is not on the agenda. Gülistan Kılıç Koçyiğit, on the other hand, demands that Kurdish be an official language, even though not even Öcalan has said such a thing."

"THE ATTITUDES ARE THE SAME: THEY ARE SPOILED AND ARROGANT"

Tayyar emphasized that, just as in the resolution process, DEM Party executives are in a "spoiled" and "arrogant" stance.

"OUR PRESIDENT HAS SET THE TONE"

Tayyar added that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has displayed a clear stance in this process and "cut off the path for these demands." Stating, "Fortunately, our President has set the tone. These demands have remained unanswered," Tayyar underlined that Turkey will not tolerate such outbursts.
