Selvi calls out to CHP leader Özel: 'Careful, İmamoğlu is getting used to Ankara'

Hürriyet columnist Abdulkadir Selvi stated that Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu will meet with Ankara representatives of newspapers and television stations for breakfast on Monday, September 21.

In his column, Selvi used the following expressions: "Ekrem İmamoğlu has established a media order for himself. He has two TV channels and a newspaper directly, as well as TV channels he feeds and journalists who broadcast on social media. They are called the Saraçhane Media." 

BREAKFAST TO BE HELD

Stating that "Ekrem İmamoğlu is now preparing to establish contact with the Ankara media as well," Selvi continued as follows:

"He will meet with the Ankara representatives of newspapers and television stations for breakfast on Monday, September 21. The breakfast program at the Marriott Hotel will begin at 09.30 in the morning.

'GETTING USED TO ANKARA'

Ekrem İmamoğlu will hold this meeting in his capacity as the President of the Union of Municipalities of Türkiye. Media outlets close to the government have also been invited to the breakfast. If İmamoğlu is satisfied with the first meeting, he is reportedly considering continuing his meetings with the Ankara press.

Özgür Özel, be careful. Ekrem İmamoğlu is gradually getting used to Ankara."
