SETA denies 'Erdoğan is not untouchable' report: 'Regarding the alleged content...'

Gazete Pencere columnist Nuray Babacan, in her column written the day before yesterday, claimed that SETA, a think tank established in Ankara in 2006, had prepared a report for the ruling AKP party, and that the report included statements suggesting there were fundamental changes in President Erdoğan's perception within society.

The article also alleged that the report concluded that Erdoğan is no longer untouchable as he once was, and that the consequences of mistakes made are now being attributed directly to him.

SETA DENIES

Following Babacan's article, a statement came from SETA. The organization, making a statement on its official social media accounts, expressed that they have no such work.

The statement included the following: "SETA prepares many reports on various topics. There is no SETA report regarding the content alleged in various media platforms today. Respectfully announced to the public."

DMM ALSO DENIES

Following SETA's denial that it had prepared a report for the AKP, a statement also came from the Presidency's Center for Combating Disinformation.

In a post on the social media platform X, the DMM stated, "The news contains disinformation. The Foundation for Political, Economic and Social Research (SETA) does not have a report with the alleged content."
