The YRP leader said, "While the AKP's vote share hovers around 27-28 percent, the MHP's support varies between 5 and 7 percent. Due to the 50+1 requirement, there are plans to include the resolution process and the DEM Party in the alliance, but even this does not seem sufficient."

Erbakan stated neutrally that they could support Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş if he were to run in a potential second round, adding, "But it would not be possible for us to support his candidacy if it were from the CHP." Furthermore, criticizing the nullity ruling against the CHP, he assessed, "It is not right to seek solutions through courts in democracies."
