Signatures signed: Cooperation in education between Turkey and Syria
A protocol for cooperation in education has been signed between the Ministry of National Education and the Ministry of Education of the Syrian Arab Republic.
A delegation led by Deputy Minister of National Education Celile Eren Ökten paid a working visit to Syria. Within the scope of the visit, schools and educational institutions in the region were visited by Turkey's Embassy in Damascus, and field inspections were conducted.
The delegation also included Director General for EU and Foreign Relations Ünal Eryılmaz, Director General for Construction and Real Estate Özcan Duman, and Director General for Higher Education and Overseas Education Fethi Fahri Kaya.
The ministry delegation also held a meeting with the Syrian Minister of Education. During the meeting, opportunities for cooperation in the field of education between the two countries were discussed. In this context, an 'Education Cooperation Protocol' was signed between the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Türkiye and the Ministry of Education of the Syrian Arab Republic.
