Sinan Ateş's wife: I will reveal the political connections of the murder

Ayşe Ateş, the wife of the assassinated former Ülkü Ocakları President Sinan Ateş, met with Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Özgür Özel.

Ateş answered journalists' questions following her meeting with the CHP leader.

Stating that she had requested an appointment with President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan but had received no response so far, Ateş said, "I discussed my situation in detail with Özgür Özel. He explained that he would follow the case and provide support in every sense. I will fight until I get results, no matter how far it goes."

'I WILL REVEAL ITS POLITICAL CONNECTIONS'

Expressing that she would reveal the political connections of the murder once the confidentiality order is lifted, Ateş continued with the following statements:

We have waited patiently until today. We are people who love their state. The country could have headed toward internal turmoil, and we acted with that in mind. I put my pain aside and fought a great struggle to prevent that. However, this should not have been the reward for my self-sacrifice.

There were political names in my statement. My statement was not added to the indictment.

Other statements were not added either. Either it will be sent back, or we will have this indictment rewritten. I am waiting for an answer from the President.
