Sinan Oğan takes a jab at nationalist parties

While the March 31 Local Elections stood out with the victory achieved by the CHP, the loss of votes experienced by parties representing the nationalist base, particularly the Victory Party (Zafer Partisi), the IYI Party, and the MHP, also drew attention.

While the MHP, which entered the elections with the People's Alliance (Cumhur İttifakı), failed to display a successful performance, the most notable failure was recorded for the IYI Party.

The IYI Party, which had announced that it would enter the local elections independently and freely, suffered a serious loss of support, and an evaluation of this situation also came from Sinan Oğan.

Oğan, who stated that he chose to support the AKP in the presidential elections that went to a runoff, made the following assessment regarding the local election results:

"I hope that the local elections, which took place in an atmosphere of great maturity and democracy, will be beneficial for our country and our nation. I congratulate the winning candidates.

I believe that the elections should be seriously examined and evaluated, especially from the perspective of Turkish Nationalists.

It is seen that the parties claiming to represent the Turkish nationalists, whom we made the center of the presidential elections, unfortunately could not show the necessary success in these elections.

Turkish politics is on the eve of a new generational change. In the near future, I will share an evaluation and a 'Roadmap' on this subject with you."
