Sister of former CHP provincial chair found dead in her home
In the Efeler district of Aydın, 71-year-old Yurdanur Güney, the sister of former CHP provincial chair Altan Güney, was found dead in the home where she lived alone. Her relatives, who had not heard from her for a long time, notified the police and medical teams. Upon arriving at the scene, the teams opened the door with a locksmith and discovered Güney's lifeless body.
The incident occurred at approximately 14:30 in an apartment on Pınarbaşı Street in the Zafer neighborhood. According to the information obtained, relatives of 71-year-old Yurdanur Güney, who lived alone, came to her home after not hearing from her for a long time. When they rang the doorbell and heard the sound of a television but received no answer, they notified the 112 Emergency Call Center.

Upon the report, medical and police teams were dispatched to the area. The teams arrived at the scene shortly after and entered the home after opening the door with the help of a locksmith. Güney was found motionless, and medical personnel determined that she had passed away.

Güney's body was taken to the hospital morgue following the necessary examinations. It was learned that the deceased, Yurdanur Güney, was the sister of former CHP Aydın provincial chair Altan Güney.
