Statement from Kılıçdaroğlu: No one can make me trample on my party's corporate identity

The 7th Chairman of the CHP, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, made a series of statements on his social media account.

Breaking his silence regarding the debates that emerged after the party congress where he stepped down as chairman, Kılıçdaroğlu expressed his support for Özgür Özel and the party leadership.

"NO ONE CAN MAKE ME DAMAGE MY PARTY'S CORPORATE IDENTITY"

Starting his statement with the phrase "To those who eat with the wolf and mourn with the shepherd," Kılıçdaroğlu used the following expressions:

"1) All Chairmen of the Republican People's Party—myself included—prioritize the interests of the nation and the interests of their party above their own lives, and they do not hesitate for a centimeter to sacrifice their lives for this cause.

2) No one can make me trample on or damage my party's corporate identity with small-town cunning! Our party is a 100-year-old plane tree; it has a very respectable Chairman, a Party Assembly where the will of the members and delegates is manifested, and veteran and patriotic party organizations.

3) Just as we cultivated hope in the 2019 local elections and sowed the first seeds of the nation's inevitable victory against a party that has become the state, our party, with all its components, will do what is necessary in these elections as well and will win all the major cities. In this context, my support is FULL! This is my WISH!

4) The agenda of our country is the inflation under which the nation is being crushed, the legal system that has been corrupted to the point of staging a coup against our constitution, and the local elections that are on the horizon and are of vital importance to win. There is no point in changing the country's agenda with baseless claims and slander."
