Statement on the 'Super Cup' from the Center for Combating Disinformation

The Presidency's Directorate of Communications Center for Combating Disinformation has announced that claims appearing in some media outlets and shared on social media accounts stating that the "Super Cup has been canceled" are untrue.

The following statement was made by the Presidency's Directorate of Communications Center for Combating Disinformation:

"Claims appearing in some media outlets and shared on social media accounts stating that the 'Super Cup has been canceled' are not true. The Super Cup Final, which was planned to be played on December 29, 2023, was postponed to a later date by the joint decision of Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray, and the Turkish Football Federation on the day of the match. The Super Cup Final is planned to be held in April so that there is no fixture congestion due to both teams' league and European matches. Do not give credence to baseless claims outside of official statements."
