Striking difference between Ekrem İmamoğlu and Murat Kurum in election poll! The YRP and DEM Party detail...

With only days left until the local elections, new poll results have begun to emerge.

Most recently, Asal Araştırma shared with the public the results of an election poll conducted with 2,500 people between January 9 and 12.

According to the results, when citizens were asked, "If the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality election were held this Sunday, which candidate would you vote for?", 36.8 percent said Ekrem İmamoğlu, while 32.8 percent said Murat Kurum. Thus, the difference between the two candidates stands at 3.6 points.

THE YRP AND DEM PARTY DETAIL

The poll also highlighted details regarding the New Welfare Party (YRP) and the DEM Party.

The DEM Party candidate received 4.4 percent in the poll, while the YRP candidate received 3.8 percent.

The IYI Party candidate was seen to receive 3.0 percent of the vote.

If the YRP, which entered the general elections under the People's Alliance (Cumhur İttifakı), supports Murat Kurum, the election arithmetic changes. If the DEM Party candidate supports the CHP candidate, as was the case in the previous local elections, the vote gap increases in favor of İmamoğlu.
