Striking promise from Özgür Özel before the convention! He made a reference to Kılıçdaroğlu

The long-awaited convention day has arrived in the Republican People's Party. 

At the convention, which will begin at 10:00 at the Ankara Sports Hall, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, CHP Group Chair Özgür Özel, former PM member Örsan Kunter Öymen, and former deputy İlhan Cihaner will compete for the CHP Chairmanship.

The candidate of the 'change-makers', Özgür Özel, made striking statements before the convention.

"I SET OUT SO THAT ATATÜRK'S PARTY CAN COME TO POWER"

According to the report by Cumhuriyet; Özel said, "I set out so that Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk's party is not condemned to defeats, does not suffer another defeat, does not remain in the main opposition, and can come to power."

"I PROPOSE A LEADER WHO WILL LEAVE ERDOĞAN BEHIND"

Regarding the convention and his candidacy, Özel said, "We are proposing a paradigm shift in Turkish politics. I am not proposing a leader who will stand up to Tayyip Erdoğan and bicker with him, but a leader who will leave him behind. I am proposing an approach that rejects the identity politics imposed by Erdoğan that cuts through society vertically, and instead proposes one that cuts across it horizontally." 

A PROMISE OF POLITICS THAT IS NOT INFORMAL!

Stating that he promises politics that is not informal, Özgür Özel noted the following:

“I promise politics that will touch the Kurd, the Turk, the Alevi, the Sunni, the right-winger, the left-winger, the poor, and the precarious worker. Against the shy and passive politics that our party has followed for some time, I propose brave and determined politics. I promise a CHP that does not run away from the street, but organizes the street and the square. I propose a Republican People's Party that abandons the informal politics that our Chairman has preferred for some time, and instead empowers and centers elected boards, provincial chairs, district chairs, the Party Assembly, and the MYK.”
