Striking results from the latest election poll: CHP and IYI Party in decline, gains for YRP and TİP

According to the latest election poll conducted by Asal Research, while the decline in the votes for the CHP and the IYI Party continues, an increase in votes was observed for the New Welfare Party (YRP) and the Workers' Party of Turkey (TİP).

Striking results from the latest election poll: CHP and IYI Party in decline, gains for YRP and TİP

Asal Research has shared the results of its general election poll conducted between October 5-10 with the public. According to the results, while the AKP, CHP, and IYI Party lost votes, the MHP and the Green Left Party, which has been renamed the Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (HEDEP), increased their vote shares.

According to the poll, which was conducted by interviewing 2,600 people in 26 provinces, the votes for the Victory Party (Zafer Partisi), New Welfare Party, and Workers' Party of Turkey (TİP) also increased.

CHP LOST 5 POINTS, IYI PARTY 1.5 POINTS

According to the poll results, the CHP, which also provided parliamentary seats to the Future Party (Gelecek Partisi), Felicity Party (Saadet Partisi), Democrat Party, and DEVA Party in the May elections, has lost a total of 5 points compared to 5 months ago, falling to 20 percent. The IYI Party also lost approximately 1.5 points, dropping to the 8 percent threshold.

LABOR AND FREEDOM ALLIANCE ON THE RISE

In the People's Alliance (Cumhur İttifakı), the AKP lost one point. The New Welfare Party and the MHP each rose by approximately 1 point. An increase was also observed in the votes for the Labor and Freedom Alliance. According to the poll results, the Green Left Party (HEDEP) gained approximately 1 point, while the TİP gained approximately 1.3 points.

According to the poll, the vote shares of the political parties in response to the question, "Which party would you vote for if there were a general election this Sunday?" were as follows:

  • AKP - 34.5%
  • CHP - 20.2%
  • MHP - 12.1%
  • Green Left Party - 9.8%
  • IYI Party - 8%
  • New Welfare Party - 3.6%
  • TİP - 3%
  • Victory Party - 2.7%
  • Homeland Party (Memleket Partisi) - 1.1%
