Striking war survey from Asal Research: 69 percent agree on the same view

Striking war survey from Asal Research: 69 percent agree on the same view

According to the March 2026 survey by ASAL Research, striking results have emerged regarding what kind of policy Turkey should follow in the Israel-Iran issue.

69 PERCENT AGREE ON THE SAME VIEW

The vast majority of those participating in the survey believe that Turkey should follow a balanced policy and act as a mediator. The rate of those advocating this view was measured at 69.2 percent.

THOSE SUPPORTING IRAN ARE IN SECOND PLACE

In the survey, the rate of those saying "Turkey should support Iran" was 23.0 percent, while the rate of those advocating the view that "Turkey should support Israel" remained at 3.6 percent. 4.2 percent of the participants marked the "no opinion/no answer" option.

CONDUCTED WITH 2 THOUSAND PEOPLE

The March 2026 research, which was carried out with 2 thousand people in 26 provinces across Turkey, revealed that the expectation of balance and mediation stands out in public opinion regarding foreign policy.
