Following his party's group meeting, İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu responded to a question regarding the trial of Zafer Party Chairman Ümit Özdağ, who appeared before the Istanbul 18th Criminal Court of First Instance today on charges of "publicly inciting the people to hatred and hostility" through his social media posts.

Dervişoğlu said, "Our fellow members of parliament are there as observers. Our Head of Legal and Election Affairs is there, and our Kocaeli Deputy Lütfü Türkkan is there. We are following it closely, and I will receive information once they come out. I hope he regains his freedom at his first hearing."
