Support for Murat Kurum from Future Party's Selim Temurci! 'You sold out the CHP in the first election'

Future Party Istanbul Deputy Selim Temurci drew attention with his statements regarding the local elections on the program "Different Angles with Kübra Par," which aired on TV100 last night.

Temurci made remarks supporting Murat Kurum, the People's Alliance candidate in the Istanbul local elections.

When asked on the program whether Murat Kurum's chances were higher than Ekrem İmamoğlu's, Temurci replied, "I think Mr. Murat is ahead." He further stated that a Kadir Topbaş-style approach was more suitable for Istanbul's problems and that Murat Kurum was ahead in this regard.

Following these remarks, another guest on the program, Bolu Mayor Tanju Özcan, reminded everyone that Selim Temurci was elected to office from the CHP list and made the following statements:

"Hearing these speeches, I realized that I have been right from the beginning. Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu did not ask for my blessing either. Because they deceived Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu, sat him at the head of the Table of Six, and told him, 'Let's make you president,' but they never believed it. While you were being elected with the legitimate votes of the CHP and wearing their badge, I was marching toward Ankara in 40-degree heat, you know that, right? Therefore, I am not acting as Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu's lawyer; I am pointing out the mistakes he made. Today, the most concrete evidence that Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu made a mistake is the words of our honorable deputy. In the very first election, they sold out the CHP, from which they received votes."
