Support message from Ekrem İmamoğlu to IMM employees

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu, who is currently being held in Silivri, addressed IMM executives and employees in a statement shared on his social media account.

Reacting to the government's practices, İmamoğlu drew attention to the difficulties faced by the employees.

In his message, Ekrem İmamoğlu addressed the valued executives and laborers of the IMM, stating, "You are being subjected to pressures and senseless attacks unprecedented in our country's history." he said.

IMM Mayor İmamoğlu expressed his pride in the fact that the IMM has successfully continued its services during this challenging period.

Emphasizing the successes achieved through the 'Istanbul Model,' İmamoğlu stated that the performance demonstrated by the IMM during a period of deepening economic crisis and increased financial cuts is commendable.

"Providing superior service to 16 million Istanbulites deserves every kind of praise," İmamoğlu said, thanking the employees and their families.

İmamoğlu concluded his message with the words, "I am proud of you all. Thank you, may you thrive."
