Tension in front of Çağlayan Courthouse! Support for detained youth

Young people detained during the protests that began following the detention of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu appeared before a judge today at the Çağlayan Courthouse. It was announced that alphabetical order would be used in the trial of the youth detained during the protests.  

Outside the courthouse, students who gathered to support their detained friends faced off with the police. The protesters chanted, "Release our friends," and approached the barriers set up by the police.  

While there is no clear information on whether any physical intervention occurred during the events in front of the courthouse, the students continued to protest the police's harsh attitude. It was stated that developments regarding the status of the detained youth and the course of the case are being closely followed.
