Following the polemic on social media between former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and Bolu Mayor Tanju Özcan, CHP Spokesperson Deniz Yücel had recently made a statement, expressing that Özcan's remarks regarding Kılıçdaroğlu would be evaluated by the party's authorized bodies.
Özcan put an end to the polemic with his post.
"I HAVE DECIDED TO REMAIN SILENT"
Tanju Özcan said the following in his post on X:
"I have seen that my tweets from yesterday were deliberately used by some to overshadow the economic problems in Turkey and to change the agenda. In line with the suggestions of some elders I value, I have decided to remain silent so that my party, which I see as my father's house, does not suffer from these discussions."
