The Özgür Özel detail in the IMM indictment

In the 3,900-page indictment prepared against the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), while a prison sentence of up to 2,352 years is requested for CHP's presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu, CHP Chairman Özgür Özel is also mentioned in the indictment. “As can be understood from the examined footage, it is understood that the individuals detained within the scope of the investigation, along with the criminal organization leader, the individual named Ekrem İMAMOĞLU, were present alongside CHP Chairman Özgür ÖZEL at the 38th Convention together with Ekrem İMAMOĞLU. As can be understood from the statements taken within the scope of the investigation, considering that individuals named Fatih KELEŞ, Murat ONGUN, Resul Emrah ŞAHAN, Şafak BAŞA, Yiğit Oğuz DUMAN, and Necati ÖZKAN were in the close team of the individual named Ekrem İMAMOĞLU and that these mentioned individuals were also processed as suspects within the scope of the investigation file, and that individuals named İsmail Doğan SUBAŞI, Mesut KÖSEDAĞI, Özgen NAMA, Mithat Bülent ÖZMEN, and Nevzat Burak KESİMOĞLU were serving in the management staff at the IMM, it is understood that these individuals acted together with the criminal organization leader Ekrem İMAMOĞLU and took part in the convention,

'THE INDIVIDUAL NAMED ÖZGÜR ÖZEL'

Again, when the statements of the suspects who made declarations with the request to benefit from the effective remorse provisions above and the convention footage are evaluated together; it has been understood that the people who took part in the meeting among the reliable persons in Sarp YALÇINKAYA's statement also took part in the convention meeting, and that together with these issues, they supported the individual named Özgür ÖZEL, who came to the CHP chairmanship, together with the criminal organization leader Ekrem İMAMOĞLU, and that these issues are of a nature that confirms the whistleblower statement of the individual named Sarp YALÇINKAYA.”
