The poll that changes the balance in the CHP

The developments in the CHP following the court's absolute nullity ruling and the allegations of a new party, which were brought to the agenda with Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's return to the chairmanship, have also become the subject of public opinion research.

In the latest poll conducted by Asal Research, voters were asked how their general election preferences would change if CHP Chairman Özgür Özel were to establish a new political party.

Within the scope of the research, 2,000 participants were asked the question, "If CHP Chairman Özgür Özel establishes a new political party, which party would you vote for in the general election?"

According to the poll results, 31.8 percent of voters stated that they would cast their vote for the AK Party.

In the research, the rate of participants who stated that they would vote for the current CHP was measured at 10.9 percent.

Thus, in the poll, the vote shares of the party hypothetically to be established by Özgür Özel and the current CHP were evaluated under separate headings.

According to the results shared by Asal Research, the vote shares of other parties were ranked as follows:

AK Party: 31.8 percent

The party hypothetically to be established by Özgür Özel: 21.4 percent

CHP: 10.9 percent

DEM Party: 9.1 percent

MHP: 8.2 percent

İYİ Party: 5 percent

Anahtar Party: 3.1 percent

Zafer Party: 3 percent

Yeniden Refah Party: 2.8 percent

Workers' Party of Turkey (TİP): 1.5 percent

Other parties: 3.2 percent
