The ruling party's post-Erdoğan design plan revealed: That 'mysterious' group within the AKP met with Erdoğan!

TV100 columnist Fuat Uğur claimed in his column today that a three-person group from within the AKP visited President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at his residence on April 28, 2024, and that this meeting laid the groundwork for certain developments within the party.

According to the allegation, the group in question requested a private meeting with Erdoğan at 1:00 PM, less than a month after the March 31 local elections. While three people physically attended the meeting, one person joined the conversation via an online connection.

ERDOĞAN WAS PERSUADED INTO THE 'NORMALIZATION PROCESS'

According to Fuat Uğur, during this meeting, the focus was placed on the results of the local elections, and Erdoğan was essentially subjected to "mobbing," creating the impression that he was the sole person responsible for the poor outcome.

Uğur alleged that as a result of this pressure, President Erdoğan was persuaded to engage in normalization talks with CHP Chairman Özgür Özel without setting any preconditions. He further stated that there were signs that this group had previously established contact with the CHP side as well.

"POST-ERDOĞAN" SCENARIOS

Fuat Uğur stated that although this group is small in number within the AK Party, they want to be influential and are marketing themselves both internally and to the opposition.

It was alleged that this group is operating like a 'seesaw' between the dual balances within the CHP (Ekrem İmamoğlu and Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu) and that their goal is to plan a political design for the post-Erdoğan era.

In his article, Uğur argued that the group's aim is to bring the AKP under their influence through contacts with the opposition and to establish their own spheres of power while preparing the party for the 2027 or 2028 elections.

"THEY WANT TO BE DETERMINATIVE IN INTRA-PARTY BALANCES"

Continuing his article, Uğur stated that the group in question is acting with the 2028 elections as their target and, in this context, is trying to take a political position based on post-President Erdoğan scenarios.
