'The time has come to unite,' he said: After Davutoğlu, an invitation to Akşener from the AKP front

Former AKP MKYK member Mücahit Birinci has called on Future Party Chair Ahmet Davutoğlu and former IYI Party Chair Meral Akşenerto join the ranks of the AKP.

Following Birinci's call for Davutoğlu to return to the AKP, the Future Party leader stated that he had never truly broken away from the AKP. 

In his message regarding Meral Akşener, Birinci recalled the words of MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli and stated, "It is an expectation shared by sincere people that Ms. Meral Akşener should also take her place in this unity, under this great tree. The time is not for division, but for unity."

In a post on social media, Mücahit Birinci included the following statements: 

-In my opinion, Mr. Ahmet Davutoğlu is a true son of this party. Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is its natural and permanent leader. He is the Great Leader.

-What Mr. Davutoğlu needs to do is not very difficult. He should quickly return to the AK Party as a whole, contribute to the cause with his knowledge and experience, and begin working.

From then on, we must be those who:

Cover up flaws,

Forget mistakes,

Wipe the slate clean of the past,

Look only to the future,

Take the burden off the Great Leader,

Support him in the global arena,

And add strength to his power.

-Remember, many important figures who were previously outside our AK Party, who were in opposition, or who belonged to other parties with different ideologies, have achieved great things under our party's roof, taken on burdens, and worked selflessly, and they continue to do so.

-A short-term separation is possible in every family. If the family is here, the children cannot and should not be outside.

-Our leader is Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. While the world is against us, it is a 'duty' for us on a human level to support our family and our home, and to be united.

-For these reasons, Mr. Ahmet Davutoğlu must act very quickly and return to his home without wasting time on personal analyses and questioning the past.

-Finally, I state this: Immediately after, it is the expectation of sincere people that Ms. Akşener also takes her place in this unity, under this great tree.

-It is a mandatory duty for us to work day and night to see the geopolitical requirements and fulfill the necessity of the 'internal front' emphasized by the Great Leader and Mr. Devlet Bahçeli.

-The time is not for division, but for unity. That is all.
