They asked CHP voters: The voters also called it a trustee!

A study conducted by Aksoy Research between October 1 and 6 revealed voter opinions regarding the management change controversy at the CHP Istanbul Provincial Presidency.

The research was carried out with 1,067 people living in Istanbul who stated that they vote for the CHP.

In the survey, which consisted of three questions, participants were asked about both their preference for the provincial president and their views on the court's decision.

CHP VOTERS: “ÖZGÜR ÇELİK SHOULD CONTINUE”

In the first question of the research, the statement "If you were to determine the CHP Istanbul Provincial President, who would you choose?" was posed.

94.1 percent of the participants answered Özgür Çelik, while 5.9 percent answered Gürsel Tekin.

According to the results, it was determined that CHP voters have taken a clear stance in favor of the current administration in Istanbul.

REACTION TO THE COURT DECISION: “GÜRSEL TEKİN IS A TRUSTEE”

In the second question of the survey, an evaluation was requested regarding "the court's decision in the lawsuit filed for the cancellation of the CHP's 38th Ordinary Istanbul Provincial Congress, to remove Provincial President Özgür Çelik and the current administration from office and appoint Gürsel Tekin and a temporary committee in their place."

64.3 percent of the participants characterized this appointment as a 'trustee decision'.

A segment of 35.7 percent stated that this decision was merely "the assignment of administrators within the CHP."

STRIKING ANSWER TO THE QUESTION “WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOU WERE APPOINTED?”

In the final question of the research, the question "If the court had appointed you as a call committee in place of Özgür Çelik, like Gürsel Tekin, what would you do?" was asked.

While 72 percent of the participants answered, "I would not accept the duty,"

15.7 percent said they would accept the duty and "would quickly start the election process in the neighborhoods and take the party to an extraordinary congress."

12.3 percent stated that they would accept the duty but "would wait for the ordinary congress one year later."

ORC RESEARCH: “GÜRSEL TEKİN IS MORE POPULAR THAN YAVAŞ”

The recent controversies within the CHP have also brought another public opinion survey conducted shortly ago to the agenda.

In a survey conducted in 26 provinces by ORC Research, which is close to the government, 1,850 opposition voters were asked the question, "Who is your favorite CHP politician?"

According to the results;

Ekrem İmamoğlu ranked first with 47.9 percent.

He was followed by Özgür Özel with 41.6 percent.

In third place, Gürsel Tekin (41.0 percent) ranked ahead of Mansur Yavaş (40.5 percent).
