Intense political traffic is taking place in Ankara following the "absolute nullity" ruling issued by the 36th Civil Chamber of the Ankara Regional Court of Justice regarding the CHP's 38th Ordinary Congress, held on November 4-5, 2023.

As the court's decision has moved to the top of the political agenda, a series of critical discussions and meetings are being held within the CHP.

ÖZGÜR ÖZEL RECONVENED THE MYK

Following the decision, Özgür Özel, who held an emergency meeting at the CHP Headquarters, called the party's Central Executive Board (MYK) to meet again to make new assessments regarding the process.

It was learned that the roadmap to be followed by the CHP leadership against the court decision and the steps to be taken were discussed at the meeting.

While it was stated that party staff are working intensively at the General Headquarters building in Ankara, it was noted that the political and legal process is being evaluated from multiple perspectives following the decision.
