TİP responds to claims that an 'offer was made' to Gökhan Zan

TİP has responded to claims that Gökhan Zan, who resigned from the İYİ Party, would be a candidate for their party. The statement pointed out that there is no concrete offer on the table.

The party's Press Office denied the claim in a statement to Onur Öncü from Tele1 regarding the Gökhan Zan allegations.

The statement from TİP said, “There is no concrete candidacy offer, and the subject of candidacy was not brought up during the meeting. Chairman Erkan called him to get a general opinion on the situation in Hatay and to make an assessment. They are planning to meet in person in the coming days.”

Former national football player Gökhan Zan, who was a parliamentary candidate for the İYİ Party following the February 6 earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş, did not enter parliament in the general elections and subsequently resigned from the İYİ Party.
