Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ferdi Zeyrek, who lost his life, was critically injured on the night of June 6 after being electrocuted while attempting to fix a malfunction in the pool motor room in his home's garden.
Zeyrek, whose heart had stopped, was taken to the hospital following initial intervention at the scene.
It was learned that Zeyrek, who was connected to an ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation) device in the intensive care unit to support his heart and lung functions, was also receiving dialysis treatment due to kidney failure.
