Tuncer Bakırhan's comments on the 'New Resolution Process'

DEM Party Co-Chair Tuncer Bakırhan delivered significant messages regarding the peace process to party members he met at a solidarity dinner organized by his party. Speaking at the event held in a wedding hall in Mersin, Bakırhan emphasized his party's commitment to the peace process.

'PEACE REQUIRES SERIOUSNESS AND SINCERITY'

Referring to the meeting held by the DEM Party delegation with Abdullah Öcalan in İmralı, Bakırhan stated that this meeting was quite valuable and important. Expressing that the peace process can only be carried out with sincerity and belief, Bakırhan said, "We want this process to evolve toward peace and resolution. As the DEM Party, we take every word and step in this direction. Peace is possible with seriousness and sincerity."

CALL TO PARTY MEMBERS: 'TAKE THE PROCESS SERIOUSLY'

Stating that they are working day and night for the progress of the peace process, Bakırhan called on party members to support the process. "Our expectation from you is that you please take this process seriously. Peace can only be possible with our collective effort," he said.

The solidarity dinner was attended by DEM Party Group Deputy Chair Sezai Temelli, DEM Party Mersin MP Ali Bozan, and numerous party members. During the program, party officials exchanged ideas on the steps to be taken and the paths to be followed for the peace process.
