Two more individuals released in IMM investigation
In the corruption investigation that also includes Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu among the suspects, the release of individuals benefiting from effective remorse provisions continues. Most recently, two more suspects were released under judicial control.
New developments are unfolding in the "corruption" investigation launched against the IMM, which includes charges of "managing a criminal organization," "membership in a criminal organization," "extortion," "bribery," "qualified fraud," "unlawful acquisition of personal data," and "rigging a tender" against detainees, including Ekrem İmamoğlu.
TWO MORE INDIVIDUALS BENEFITED FROM EFFECTIVE REMORSE
Businesspeople Ali Nuhoğlu and Süleyman Atik, who were arrested as part of the investigation, have been released after benefiting from effective remorse provisions.
